Cash crop production supports 47% of the rural population and has enormous development potential. The APILE project will aim to strengthen the technical capacities of enterprises involved in cash crop processing

APILE will support local carpenters to improve the production and the made in Comoros by using wood available in the archipelago and by generating employment.
Cosmetics
The cosmetic products are based on the production and eco-friendly exploitation of all the resources and wealth of the Comoros. APILE will accompany the actors involved in cosmetic production so that they meet the norms and standards
Building and public works (BPW)
The APILE programme also aims to strengthen local know-how in the construction trades: roads, public works, building, civil engineering, earthworks and building materials.

In Comoros, many young people are interested in this sector, which is increasing creation of products manufactured in Comoros and are also exported to other horizons.
